The thing I (Emma) use every time I go out is my bum bag (fanny pack for American readers). I fits my Lee filter system, spare batteries, cable release, extra SD cards, microfibre cloth, facemask and cash so I can keep shooting without constantly having to put my backpack down and rummage for the small stuff. It also means I can go out without a backpack if I’m just taking my camera.

During lockdown I’ve been getting out and about on my new eBike - some days it’s blue skies, some days it isn’t. But I always have a bum bag filled with essentials and an AYWMC water bottle with me. And please forgive the sloping horizion.
