App mentor volunteers: 25 November – applications now closed

Thank you for your interest. We have enough volunteers for the next intake but please keep an eye on the app for applications in the new year.

The app mentors spend some time each week checking the various feeds, and scrolling through their nominated start date hashtags. You will not be a one-to-one mentor, rather you mentor a complete start group (or two). The next intake of mentors will be looking after January and February 2020 starters (#Jan2020 and #Feb2020). This is what’s involved:

• if a new joiner posts an introduction post, leave a welcoming comment

• if anyone posts that they don’t know what to do or where to post, point them in the direction of the relevant section of the app

• if your start dates post in the community feed, give them some “Likes” and leave a comment

• if your start date is having trouble in the homework thread, help if you can

• if you see anyone who has a complaint or needs to report a problem with the app, leave a comment that they should email admin@emmadaviesphoto.com with details

All mentors get a permanent purple border on their profile photo to indicate their new status.

Apply here. Successful applicants will be notified in early December and will need to send a copy of their profile photo to Emma for the border. If there are too many applicants then you are very welcome to apply again for the March/April starters early in 2020.
